Soccerkidz Ole!

The SOCCERKIDZ Ole! radio program was broadcast on STEREO 974 FM in Melbourne throughout September – October 2003.

This 15 week series was produced by Four Diegos Media and financed by FOOTBALL FEDERATION VICTORIA.

Significantly, up to 11 FOOTBALL FEDERATION VICTORIA junior clubs, six secondary schools, the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) and NTC programs, and some of the biggest stars in Australian football at home and abroad, had an on-air presence on the show throughout the series.

During the series up to 400 Victorian SOCCERKIDZ from schools and clubs across Melbourne were heard ‘talking world football’ on STEREO 974 FM and the FOOTBALL FEDERATION VICTORIA website: www.footballfedvic.com.au

With thanks to FOOTBALL FEDERATION VICTORIA (FFV) and STEREO 974 FM, this unique initiative gave many young people with an interest in world football a rare opportunity to celebrate the game publicly, taking on roles as experts, reporters and football stars against a backdrop of humour, positive participation, learning and fun.
