FOUR DIEGOS RADIO SHOW

“The Four Diegos’apart from having a marvelous title, screaming out for a program — is a real innovation.

Other than Nine’s ‘Footy Show’, no other outlet combines, so seamlessly, sport (in this case the ‘World Game’, soccer) with humour and a real working knowledge of the game. Appearing on it is a delight — fun, informative and a great vehicle for a great game.

‘The Four Diegos’ deserve wider commercial exposure. The timing for such a move is perfect ! Get on it now !!

SOCCERKIDZ OLE! RADIO SHOW

‘A great concept and wonderful first series. I really hope the product evolves as it has so much merit…It was a pleasure being involved.’
Walter Zavattiero,Teacher – Ruyton Girl’s School

’The players from the U10s were so excited to be interviewed and can't wait to hear themselves on the radio. I think it's a great idea and can only see it gathering momentum during the course of time…keep it going.’ Margot Payne, Parent board member – Doncaster Rovers Junior Soccer Club

The players were thrilled to hear themselves on radio and interested to hear players from other clubs. It is easy to forget there are so many kids having fun out there. The varied mix seemed right to keep them listening with their limited attention span…as a parent, I found the physio and nutrition segments worthwhile and empathised with the soccer parents, whilst enjoying the enthusiasm of those involved…good luck with the program.”  Linda Ryan – Brighton Junior Soccer Club

‘I think this program has real potential.  The kids really got a buzz out of being interviewed.  I gladly endorse anything that will help to promote the best game in the world.’

Anne Crossley, Junior Coordinator – Keilor Park Soccer Club

‘Congratulations. The Soccerkidz program really hits the mark. The show fills the void that many of the commercial radio and television stations are not prepared to fill, despite the increasing numbers and popularity of soccer at the grassroots level. I congratulate Football Federation Victoria for making a commitment to this great game.

The variety of segments in the program has truly represented a wide cross-section of the community that soccer has filtered through. At the same time it recognises the great work of the VIS, elite players, and coaches and is presented in an exciting and entertaining package.

Michael Pichner, Director of Coaching – Green Gully Soccer Club

‘Thank you for the opportunity of the Altona City Under 14 girls Soccer Team doing a piece on your radio station, in the Soccerkidz program.

I think the program is excellent and I can assure you that all the girls thought it was fantastic. Well done and keep up the good work.’

Robin Mayes, Coach – ALTONA CITY UNDER 14 GIRLS

CricKids Playing in Harmony

"Frankly, in my 13 years in PR and marketing I have rarely seen such enthusiasm from kids, parents and teachers. It was a "money can't buy experience" for both Cricket Australia and the department. You simply could not "buy" the authenticity and credibility that our collective messages received."

Bob Crawshaw, Media Consultant, Harmony Day 2007 – Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs

‘We’ve asked prominent high profile educationalists throughout Australia for their feedback on the resource and they universally agreed that it was the best educational resource that they had seen’

Damian Bown manager – Game Development Cricket Australia on the CricKids Playing in Harmony resource

‘Everyone I’ve shown the teachers handbook to is very impressed — reckon you’ve got a sure fire winner!’  Dan Rogers – Embleton PS, WA

‘Thanks again for a fantastic professional development day down in Melbourne. Much appreciated and well organised.  It is a fantastic program to be affiliated with.’ Ash Brettell – Majura Primary, ACT

‘Congratulations again on a great launch of the program last Friday.  It is a cracker. Torquay Primary School will run this program with its Year 3,4,5,6 children.’ Gavin Nelson – Torquay PS, VIC

‘Thanks for the PD day, it was great.  Well done cricket for having good ideas and following them through’ Kevin Meacock – Durack State School, QLD

‘Thank you once again for simply the best PD day that I have attended — you and your team are a credit to Australian Cricket. I just hope I can meet the high standard you have set us ...... we would hate to let the Crickids team down’ Campbell Smith – Barker College, NSW

The resource looks amazing!  The kids went NUTS when they got their workbooks. One girl in Year 7 said, and I quote..... "This is the best book I've ever got at school. It’s cool!’

Cath Sandurski – St Thomas More PS, Bundaberg, QLD

"Being a cricket lover, it was easy to get excited about a program like this, but it was really the Living in Harmony components — and not the cricket — I got most satisfaction out of."

Ashley Brettell – Majura Primary School ,ACT

CricKids Ashes Challenge

I teach here in Sydney and I have a small high school class of kids who have different special needs — Downs Syndrome; some on the autism spectrum; and others with mild to moderate disabilities — and we are using the CricKids Ashes Challenge program right now.

First of all, we all want to tell you that we love it! We have even visited the Ashes Exhibition at the Museum of Sydney and we feel that we have seen something that’s pretty special.

We also want to send a big thank you to the people who put the CricKids Ashes Challenge together.  The student journal is brilliant — full of a variety of activities for the diverse range of kids in our class.  We are all finding lots to do and we’re having fun doing it.  It’s brilliant.’

Thanks again, guys.
